So, in english it has to be once

Three months ago when I started the blog for my surprise I got many comments immediately and some of them were from my European friends. I said back then I would write something in English every now and then, but really haven`t. Of course Jon from the UK has noticed this with his some kind of wonderful computer system which informs him when I write an entry in English (check the comments in the previous entry). So here comes one, at last, though unfortunately I don't have anything spectacular to tell about Berlin life at the moment!

My last week in Berlin is going fast and the weather has been gray and dull. I told Oliver, my Swiss ex-flatemate who is visiting, that the city is preparing me to go home.

I also got a glimpse of being back home yesterday, when me and Antti were at the Finnish national day reception at the embassy. It was actually fun to dress up a bit for the first time for a long time, though I wore the wrong shoes, which bothered me. (You see Jon, all you`ve missed is shoe and bratwurst talk). There was also fun young crowd present and we continued the evening in a nice bar near by for a bit.

We`ve spent otherwise very relaxed week with Oliver. Loads of eating and also getting lost. When Oliver arrived I wanted to show my area and very proudly took him around. And pfaff, we got horribly lost and it really didn`t seem I have a clue of my neighbourhood. And this happened again in the same evening, though bit more related to the fact that we ignored the public trasportation schedules. The result was that the way home started around 23.30 and we were at home 2am. Some days just have this karma...

My article on old squatted houses is nearly done and I managed to find a nice photographer, with whom we toured the houses the other day. Tomorrow he will come to our house to take photos of an old-school squatter Jörg who I`ve interviewed. Excellent!

I will join Oliver for Siesta now and later on the programme some cooking and DVDs, relaxed and nice!

Many thanks for the English update! :-)

And the super-tech system I use is not really very advanced at all - it's Firefox's RSS Feed function. Have a look at the Firefox website for more.

Glad life is good in Berlin! Any plans to be in London or Brussels any time soon?
